ABOUT

Where should I begin? Maybe what I do for a living?

I'm a marketing guy, content-marketing to be precise. So, I write and get paid for it - you might say I'm living the dream. I also happen to be an avid-reader, a musicjunkie and a HUGE cinephile!

I'm also deeply spiritual and forever questioning - faith and reason, in equal measure. I feel like I'm part monk and part punk! I consider myself a Buddhist Hindu, who chants and meditates a lot. Having said that, just to make myself clear I'm NOT RELIGIOUS. I am spiritual, yes, to a fault. But that's it. It's my way of trying to find peace in an otherwise raucous world.

I'm a staunch feminist. And on the socio-economic-political spectrum, I consider myself an anarchist. I'm reading into it and exploring it further, so if you have any pointers, books, authors you'd like to recommend, I'm all ears. I deeply care for animal rights and am completely anti-speciesist. My love for animals isn't restricted to cats and dogs alone.

I've been a vegetarian my entire life, and I'm aspiring to take it to the next level and become a vegan. But as the whole vegan movement has yet to catch up here in India, it looks like it's going to be a while. But I am trying my best. I also happen to be Straight Edge, almost six years now.
Thank you Minor Threat

Also, if you're into the whole Myers-Briggs personalities I am INFJ af!

One can say a lot about a person by the sort of idols he looks upto, and mine are : Radhanath Swami, Thich Nhat Hanh, Swami Vivekananda, Alan Watts, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Henry Rollins, Ian Mackaye, and Elon Musk. They have inspired me and their words have motivated me to overcome my depression. Also, Bill Hicks is my spirit animal.

I could ramble on and on about other facts and facets, but I think this should suffice. Let's leave something to talk about.

What I am looking for

Any of the above resonated with you at some level. You want to have a meaningful conversation. Even if you don't think our world-views coincide, and want to discuss something at length, let us. At least we'll both learn something. At most, we'll be friends and you'll see we're not that different.
